NOTE: YOU MUST TRY TO INSTALL MEGASTAT BEFORE THE TUTORIAL CLASS

1. MegaStat works with Windows versions of Excel 2016, 2013, and 2010. There are also Apple Mac versions for Mac Excel 2016 and 2011. Check out the User Guides, and FAQ documents for either PC or MAC for more information.
2. The MegaStat 10.3 download file is approximately 2MB. Get the Excel 2016 for Mac at Microsoft Store and compare products with the latest customer reviews and ratings. Download or ship for free.

All Office 2016 for Mac users received an update to the new '16.xx' build. While these builds contain advanced new features, some existing third-party extensions may have compatibility problems with the new version. If you run into this issue, contact the publisher of your third-party extension to find out if an update is available.

Go to the Megastat site to download and install the Megastat Excel add-in needed for class.

Choose the install line apprpriate for your computer and operating system. After downloading, unzip the downloaded file and read the installation guide or you can watch the installation and setup video

If You have trouble getting Megastat as above, try this

Go to our Laulima class site resources page and get the version of Megastat suitable for your version of Excel. You will have to login to Laulima if you have not already done so:

• For Mac Excel 2011 or later Note: you may need to unzip this file to get the install package
  • MegaStatpkg.zip
• For Windows Excel 2008 or later
  • MegaStat_Add_In_Installer.exe
• For Windows Excel 2007
  • MegaStat_Add_In_Installer_2007.exe

After you download Megastat, install it and then download andgo through the setup instructions listed in one of the files below:

Finally, download the file MegaStat_Info.xlsx (click on this link) to a convenient location.

Now open MegaStat_Info.xlsx and select the ToC tab. Click on and reviewthe following links:

• First Look
• MegaStat output
• Comparison to Data Analysis Tools

Now verify that MegaStat is installed by looking for the MegaStat menu item and check thatit matches what is illustrated in the First Look tab.
