For those who like nature videos as their TV screen saver. Whether you have your Apple TV in the home or in the office, Scenic Loops gives you calming and comforting video views of nature. I have just moved to a new house and purchased a new 4K tv (the old one was 1080). Since the move, my 4K Apple TV won’t alternate thru the aerial screensaver sequences. It is stuck on “passing downtown Los Angeles”. When I swipe left or right the sequence stays the same. I changed the screensaver to Apple photos which worked fine.

No matter what Apple device you use, you might be aware that Apple does not give a bunch of wallpapers or screen savers. We have to rely on other sources to get beautiful screensavers. Same is the case with Apple TV; there isn’t tons of stock Screen Savers installed when you get your Apple TV.

If your friends or family too have an Apple TV at their home, then your TV isn’t different from them. This is why we are writing this post to help you get the most out of your Apple TV. Here we will explain how you can change Screensaver from photos in your iCloud. All you need to do is to refer to the tutorial given below:

How to Use iCloud Photos as a Screen Saver on Apple TV

Step #1. Very first thing you’ll need to do is to sign into your iCloud account on your Apple TV. To do this, go to Settings → Accounts → iCloud and Sign In.

Step #2. After you have Signed In, you’ll be able to enable “iCloud Photo Sharing” and “My Photo Stream“. After enabling both, you’ll be able to see the stream on your Apple TV.

Step #3. As now we have the photo stream with us, we can now set them as a screensaver. Go to Settings → General → Screensaver on your 4^th Generation Apple TV. For older Apple TV, you’ll need to go to Settings → Screen Saver → Photos.

Step #4. Now in the Screen Saver menu, select “Type” followed by selecting “My Photos“.

Step #5. Once you are in My Photos select the PhotoStream or any other shared album you have set.

Step #6. Now as you have reached your album or Photo Stream, it’s time to set them as a screen saver. You can have a slideshow or a single photo as a screensaver. As of now, we will continue with a single picture. So just select the picture and click on “Set as Screen Saver“.

Step #7. Your Apple TV will ask for confirmation on the next screen, simply select “Yes“.

Voila! Your Apple TV will now display photos from iCloud as your Screensaver. This isn’t hard, but certainly frustrating when navigating with a Siri remote.

I keep installing it but for some reason the screensaver stays the same every time. How do I change it?

Downloaded for both my iMac 27', and MacBook Pro on Catalina and works perfect
Also installed on my Windows 10 Games machine and works well. You do however need a good graphics card on Win10, at least 2gb

Awesome screensaver! My only issue with it is that you can't choose a specific one. A deticated button to choose a specific one would be nice. Also im missing the text that usually appears at the bottom for a biref moment

Have I done it wrong? Downloading Aerial.saver.zip, unzipping ... Contents folder does not have .saver file. Tried to simply rename .saver.zip to .saver, does not work either

Is there any way to make it offline? Or download just 2-3 video and set its path within the app? It's bit disappointing that I need to connect to internet everytime to use this.

It is - or rather was - truly stunning screensaver, however as soon as you move to Mojave (am on the latest Beta version) it ceases to function!!

Great screen saver. However, I am beta testing MacOS 10.14 (Mojave) and the screen saver does not work with that version. It will need to be updated.

Running MacBookPro14,2 with macOs 10.13.5 (17F77) I've experienced total jamming after a few seconds of beautiful scenery view. Looked like synchronisation issue of display, healed as soon as clock is set to be displayed. Then, just awesome!

This screensaver is excellent and is an amazing piece of software. However i had discovered a bug where certain screensavers appear to shake in a glitchy fashion. Almost as if it it is trying to adjust to a different screen resolution. I would really like this fixed to have a perfect screensaver.

Gorgeous, but on Windows 10 my monitor stays on indefinitely, ignoring its auto-off setting. It's only supposed to do that when viewing full-screen video, not for screensavers.
